How It all Happens
phase 1
Research
Just as a doctor evaluates their patient before prescribing treatment, a true brand strategist must also start by asking the right questions. Through a series of online homework assignments and optional discovery calls, we'll work together to identify the problem or opportunity with your branding.
phase 2
Design
Once the problem or opportunity is diagnosed, the creative work begins! I will design two distinct brand concepts based on the findings and inspiration from Phase I, then you'll have an opportunity to review the direction and provide feedback. At this stage, concepts include a primary logo, submark and color scheme.
Revisions
Once you've had an opportunity to review the brand concepts and select your favorite, we'll refine the concept until it feels like the perfect fit. All clients receive three sets of revisions at no charge. When strategy leads the way, revisions are often minimal. I've never had a client need more than three sets of revisions!
phase 3
phase 4
Launch
After all revisions are made and the final look is approved, I will assemble a brand guide and neatly package your files. When I'm finished, you'll receive a customized brand toolkit along with helpful resources to ensure a smooth launch!
phase 5
Support
Once a client, always a client. Once your new brand has launched, additional support might include one-time projects like website design or creating promotional materials. Many clients also prefer to hire me for a flat monthly fee for ongoing support in areas like social media graphic and video production or help developing a strong marketing strategy.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the process take from start to finish?
Depending on availability, clients can expect to spend roughly 8 weeks developing their new brand. If you are operating with a hard launch date in mind, just let me know in your initial inquiry so I can do my best to accommodate you,
I found a logo I really like. Can you remake it for me?
My expertise is crafting one-of-a-kind brands that sets your business apart. While I welcome inspiration during the research phase, I do not copy existing designs or brands. This is not a strategic move.
When is payment due?
Clients are expected to pay 50% upfront as a nonrefundable deposit to secure their place in my schedule. The final deposit is due when the brand toolkit is delivered. Any additional post-launch support services such as social media graphics, website design, or office signage will be invoiced separately.
What if I want to make changes?
Each custom brand includes three sets of revisions. Additional revisions and concepts may be requested and billed at my hourly rate.
What if I already have inspiration in mind?
That's great! Inspiration is a key component of the research phase, particularly for all full branding suites. This will be a major part of your homework assignment.
